Etienne just came in on a visit. The team clearly wants a fast RB to play lightning to Rhamondre’s thunder.

I think Etienne could be an absolute steal, if he's not asked to tote the rock 30 times a game.

I’m a huge Bhayshul Tuten fan, very explode athlete, would give the Pats an explosive RB, can catch the ball too.

It would be more concerning if he didn't have that attitude. That's what's gotten him this far.

I wonder if teams would take issue with that, a player dictating to teams how he’s gonna play. I hope that makes him slide to #4. I feel Vrabel would let him do both.

He's a first-round talent, in any year, at both positions.
You'd be crazy not to let him at least try, and if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. Sending that message to teams, IMO is a good thing.

He’s one of the few RBs I’ve yet to watch.

He's small, 5'9" 200, which is why I'm not sure he's an every-down back, but he's fast and can really catch the ball. He's going to free-fall down the boards because a) His brother is inconsistent in the pros (which shouldn't matter, but teams are stupid), and b) He's just kinda small, and also c) I'm not asking him to ever pass-protect until he learns how to do it.

I think he'll be there in the 6th, maybe the 7th. I'd be happy if that's who they come out with.

Understand that ball security might be a thing maybe. 4 fumbles last year, only 1 lost. Kinda made his season vs BC. Kid is explosive, for sure.

If he sucks at blocking but you take him in the 7th round?
I prefer others too, but Etienne that late on Day 3 would be a steal by any metric. All that kid's ever done is produce. I mean, Kevin Faulk couldn't pass block when he came in either.

He did learn eventually though I want an accomplished guy in that area.

Then you hope Skattebo is there at 77.
Skattebo is built similarly (more of a bowling ball) and can pass block, and although he's game-fast, he's not nearly as fast as Etienne, who's a potential game-breaker every time he touched the ball.

Dion Lewis eventually learned, and that's why he earned his way into starting before he got hurt for good again.

All depends on what kind of back they think they need.

Is it between him and Rhamondre for the lead back gig? Whoever makes it through a practice without fumbling gets the gig?

(I do like Tuten, if he can figure out the ball security, he could be a real star)

It's noted that Cam Skattebo have fumbling issues too...but I love his overall game.
