DRAFT NFL Draft Talk

Yeah. I’ll pass

That was one play where they tried Conerly at Right Tackle, after he had played left tackle at Oregon all season. If you go read the reviews you will find that other than that one play Conerly played and practiced well the entire week. Conerly is a really good prospect.

Membou’s athleticism was on full display at the combine. He’s massive, only 20, and a great athlete. His ceiling is as high as it gets.
I know everyone seems to be on the Hunter bandwagon, but if Carter is gone I really want them to draft Membou. If he is not able to switch to LT, he will still be a top tier RT and pass rushers tend to play all over the line. IMO the RT is as important as the LT, With alot of teams in pistol or shotgun the blindside aspect is not as big as it is when under center.

I really like Membou as well. I think he will have little to no problem going to the left side, but I agree that even if he did he could well end up an All Pro RT. I could even see them doing something like Membou at 4 and then taking Connelly, Ersery, or Zabel with their second pick, possibly a trade up. Then going WR in the 3rd round. I think Vrabel really wants to build a great offensive line.

If they did that the OTs are fixed for at least 5 years, with the 5th year option. Like I have said many times, if Maye has time he will find he will find someone down field. I would not be upset if they went that route. Then go with a good route runner like Kyle Williams.

I just want SOMEONE to step in and get it done, no screwing around.
Maye has a lot of good stuff, but I PERSONALLY think he has to cut down on the Turnovers, else he becomes Danny Dimes.
Y'all know I want Campbell, but I have no issue with someone ELSE that can DEFINITELY GET IT DONE DAY 1 if it gives us added picks.
IDGAS about shiny toys at 4.

Like the rest of this board we just enjoy acting like a GM for a day
Truthfullly we all know ****
We don’t know any of the intel from personal matters to team and physical aspects of each candidate
I want Campbell. If Vrabel and Co. think Membou or one of the other OT’s is the answer then I am all in.
Get 2 OT’s and a Center

If Hunter is there, you don’t pass him up for ANYONE. This draft is known for not having an elite Olineman. Do we really want to go with the switching a RT to LT experiment again when it rarely works out ? It would be a criminal offense to take a RT over Hunter? A fireable offense.

Just like last draft, you don’t take an offensive lineman when there is a possible franchise QB there. You don’t take an Olineman when an elite prospect is available that can change your offense (and defense possibly).

Not everyone sees Hunter the way you do.

We desperately need a LT and there are 4 there. Trading down is the move.

Many LTs start out as RTs because they are good enough to play as freshman but the team has a LT in place.
It’s not a big deal. The guys who struggle are guys who aren’t very good at RT either.
