2nd round disappointments continue. 2nd round SLOW DB continues. Why not TE Irv Smith ? God knows what we gave up for a guy who would’ve been there at 56 ?

Why not Greedy Williams if you want a DB. Picked right after JoeJuan, and looks 10x better than JoeJuan.

But, the draft is just for fun. 3 SB wins in the last 5 years, 4 SB appearances in 5 years, can’t argue with the results. We’ll get a better DB in UDFA.

But why pass up your most crucial need (TE), to pick a guy who probably won’t play this year ?

Irv Smith is a small -handed, smallish TE.

Ran a 4.55 at pro day yada yada. Very skilled and would of gone first round had he ran faster according to a scout.

Wanna see his proday results but can’t find them. Coached by same coach from Stanford who worked with Richard Sherman.

May of not been a need but definitely a swing for a blockbuster player with tremendous upside. Can get behind this pick for sure.

Yeah, but when BB is confident about the back end of the defense he is much more aggressive at the front end. The BB era of 5'9" midget corners who are quick but can't cover is over.

He's had taller corners who can't cover often enough. Rowe and Browner come to mind as far as recent examples.

He's one of the best press corners in this draft. He just about shut down the Ole Miss guys and Miles Boykin, too. He can play S and cover against TEs, but he's a Brandon Browner / Richard Sherman type of player and I've been on his hype train for a while. I knew we worked him out, and I wouldn't have been shocked if we'd taken him at 32.

Rapaport says it was actually down to JoeJuan Williams vs N'Keal Harry at 32.

I like the pic. The pats have been way too reliant on PATRICK Ching to cover tight ends. Chung is very good at it, but he needs a backup. If the rams had a good tight end, they might have been able to exploit Chungs injury and the game might have been different. Like the pic

J Williams ranked 13th for CB on most boards predicted to go in 3rd or 4th round... Greedy ranked #2 everywhere figured to go in late 1st ....BB just didn’t like Greedy for some reason....hard to figure
