I read a story today that the Texas Rangers fired someone in their social media department for sending out a tweet recommending that the University of Texas football coach be fired.

Last April, the Houston Rockets let their social media manager go for tweet about the Dallas Mavericks being eliminated from the playoffs.

The NFL social media guy? No consequences.
