He needs a coach that knows how to work with quarterbacks

I always thought that would be Josh's #1 option.

Offense is ready to roll. Just needs a coach. It was a mess. Clearly better when 8 took over and called plays buy never truly designed around him specifically as crazy as that sounds.

(Example. Game on the line, this year, offense play calls for a pass to Adoree Jackson. A rookie CB. Again before MM tool over play calling but that whole needs a change)

Mariota (Who I love) has everything you want & need.

OLine is very good.

Henry could be a top 5 RB and the team does well when hes featured but again never properly game planned into the equation.

Walker, Davis, Taylor & co.

Again offense is ready. Defense needs another piece or two buts it's good enough rn.

Make that the focus, priority #1 going foward & you're good shape.

McDaniel still has a career in front of him.
Mangini didn’t exactly get dealt a great hand but would be an example of someone B.B. developed who never succeeded.

I didn’t say anything about BB and developing coaches. You did. I am simply looking at Pats DCs or OCs who’ve become HCs. To date, none has been very successful.

Dear Vance,

You can stay. However, the peasants have to go. We need to appease the masses. Best of luck trying to field a group of quality replacements, when potential hires know you're on thin ice.

Sincerely,
John Elway

It has been a purge on Broncos offensive staff as, in addition to offensive line coach Jeff Davidson, assistant head coach/running backs coach Eric Studesville and wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert have been fired. Special teams coordinator Brock Olivo... http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0739593243842322357-4 …

O'Brien was excellent at Penn State, and has gotten the Texans to the playoffs without a decent QB (Hoyer was fine in 2015, but O'Brien also had to use Mallett, Yates and Weeden that season) on more than one occasion.

That ain't bad.

Robinson is doing a hell of a job in Tennessee.

He’s not a coach, but he is doing a good job. So is Dmitroff, though his Patriots roots precede BB by 40 years.

Not much at all.

Don't misunderstand, I'm just curious about who they are as professionals. You know, attended which College, time on staff, that kind of stuff.

I didnt misunderstand. My point wasnt to be insulting or condescending. I am pretty sure that the vast majority of us had no real clue who MP was when he took over. In cases where there has been a succession plan in place for a year or two I fully trust BB not to repeat the same cluster**** as he did with Scar/Daboll/Guglielmo in 2014.

You can find info on Flores, O Shea and Schuplinski on the Pats page (or I guess wikipedia):

Chad O'Shea
....

They have extended biographies there..

Packers fired Ted Thompson if I'm Caserio I am listening.
Imagine Nick and Josh in Green Bay.

Except GB is not looking externally for a GM and they have no HC vacancy. So not sure what you are talking about.

BOB has.

Yea I'm not quite ready to throw Mariota out with the trash.

It depends on how injured he was playing, but he's made quite a few awful decisions this year. I've seen him throw into double and triple coverage right in front of his face on multiple occasions. He's extremely suspect when kept in the pocket.

If they are serious with Ossenfort this might be a good opportunity for him. Not sure they can offer Caserio anything that might be worth leaving the Pats.

Follow up:

The talk is that he won’t get ownership per se, but more like a stock option type of package.

I dont think they fire delrio is Gruden hadnt agreed in principal. Rumor is they are just going to do some interviews to avoid Rooney rule fines.

The reason for that is because every indication under the sun is that Jon Gruden is returning to his former job just as soon as the Raiders figure out a way to satisfy the Rooney Rule by interviewing a minority candidate for the job. In comments to Jerry McDonald of the Bay Area News Group, Gruden tried his best to make his getting the job seem like something other than a sure thing.

“My understanding is they’re interviewing candidates this week and they’re going to let everybody know sometime early next week or whenever they make their decision,” Gruden said. “Well, I think I am being considered, yes. I hope I’m a candidate.”

Jon Gruden: I hope I’m a candidate for Raiders

God we are about to get poached this offseason.
Yep. Our only hope is Mrs McDaniels, Mrs Patricia and Mrs Caserio are absolutely in love with rotarys and single digit temperatures and negative wind chill.
