So now anything goes because it’s more profitable? You ok with PornHub sponsoring half time? Maybe we can get a gun company in there somewhere.There are plenty of alternative streaming sites who would offer you the analysis you want. End of the day, YOU are the person asking for content that is less profitable, not the people who want gambling content. There's more money in that for the network. You feel entitled to them showing you what you want because it's the "traditional" way of covering sports but that's not how it works. If you're interested in content that is less profitable the burden is on you to go find it because the networks are going to spoon feed the people what makes the most profits.
Gambling promotion wasn’t allowed in major sports until recently, and in my opinion that was for the better. Online gambling has made it much easier to bet, and we are seeing the fallout in other sports and likely only a matter of time until it hits the NFL.
