NFL about to limit prop bets?

There are plenty of alternative streaming sites who would offer you the analysis you want. End of the day, YOU are the person asking for content that is less profitable, not the people who want gambling content. There's more money in that for the network. You feel entitled to them showing you what you want because it's the "traditional" way of covering sports but that's not how it works. If you're interested in content that is less profitable the burden is on you to go find it because the networks are going to spoon feed the people what makes the most profits.
So now anything goes because it’s more profitable? You ok with PornHub sponsoring half time? Maybe we can get a gun company in there somewhere.

Gambling promotion wasn’t allowed in major sports until recently, and in my opinion that was for the better. Online gambling has made it much easier to bet, and we are seeing the fallout in other sports and likely only a matter of time until it hits the NFL.

I’m sure there is a Tim Donaghy in the league who will be discovered someday. The refs have that much control over the outcome and we see that.

Goodell:

It's funny that the NFL is the league doing this because they're probably the least susceptible to it out of the leagues that have had issues (basketball, baseball). Football players are probably the LEAST in control of their individual statistics compared to those sports and the non guaranteed deals means that the lower paid players who would be most likely to take money to tank their stats for the under have more to lose because it costs them their jobs to miss on plays whereas in other leagues you aren't as quick to be canned.
