New Perspectives of Kraft's Stories over the years

Why did you remove this part?

He removed it because someone pointed out that it was a bit over the top and unnecessary in getting his point across, that's all.

After thinking about this, I think I know RK's actual agenda. RK is 73, and wants to, in the near future, hand down the organization to Jonathan Kraft. I think what RK was trying to do is make sure he hands this down with the Patriots in the highest possible standing with the "full 32" and not butcher something he's worked so hard for, conceding at every turn just before he calls it quits. I think he was willing to take the personal PR hit with the fans because it will only make the transition to Jonathan more favorable. I don't believe in Kraft's mind this was the league or the fans, it was his legacy vs handing the state of the Patriots for Jonathan. That sort of explains the "trust me" part of his speech thinking through the long term.

I cannot disagree more. You assumed that any goodwill from this cowardly gesture would pass down to Johnathan. You assumed that goodwill outweigh the damage it will do to Pat's fan base.

Go down fighting or swallow it cowardly is two very different stories. We should consider what would happen if Pats appeal and lose. STILL THE SAME FKING RESULT.

Hey, if there was ever a time to pile on Kraft...now would be it Don't hold back....this is the internet after all

As fans do not deserve this BS, MLK did not deserve it.

NFL is joke. If Kraft's cowardice leads to a significant reduction of Brady's suspension, that speaks it all about No-Good El's integrity. That appeal is independent of Pat's action. Impartial No-Good El's hairy butt crack.

I'm not sure that I'd agree with your wording that "he accepted it." I believe that he realized that he didn't have much support from the owners and that his options were limited. To me, that's a bit different from "accepting" the accusation. It's simply realizing that there isn't much you can do anymore.

He accepted it. Oh yes he did.

He could have said "We've concluded that an appeal or litigation is fruitless" and then hammered Goodell and the league for the crap they've pulled. That would have sucked but it at least would have shown some backbone.

Instead he spinelessly goes on about how he respects Goodell, etc., etc.

He was a spineless, disgusting, cowardly jellyfish. Screw him. I hope he's booed by Pats fans till the day he dies.

FWIW, her name is Myra Hiatt Kraft (MHK).
