Was digging through some things, and I found something I did way back in 2014 (10 years ago ... crazy) and found a spreadsheet from when I set up a sortable defensive stats database. I figured out how I did it, and I spent the day entering everything in.
1700 lines later, I've got every defensive play from this season entered in:
I looked, and the totals for every player all 100% match ESPN, albeit the league's splits are wonky elsewhere. I'm assuming there's some subjectivity on some sites, but every player split matches the play totals on the league's individual game pages.
But these sort the same way the offensive ones do, so try it out and let me know what you think.
