Come up that many times seems to defy statistics.

I know many industries that are subject to “random” testing that purposely “randomly test” the employees they know will not fail the drug test. Like test the secretary numerous times and leave the line guys alone.

It's the NFL's usual anti-Patriots bias, if the Patriots are being successful at something, well they must be cheating! Quick send out the drug test hounds! Good to see all of those years of Kraft kissing up Goodell's nutsack has resulted in such "preferential" treatment for the Patriots franchise! Hahaha

I worked for Halliburton on the oil field a quite a while ago.
They came in and tested the whole building (minus the kitchen and housekeeping staff).
One guy hade trace amounts of THC. Another guy broke the meter and had to have been smoking weed up there on the job.
The guy with trace amounts got a 30 day suspension.
The other guy got a middle seat home.
You can't do that anymore (blanket testing).
It was funny because you knew someone was going to get popped.

I liked the 30 day policy. If you had your head up your ass, or wasn't in the game, or acted unsafely, you got a 30 day wake up call.

I worked for other companies that said "If you do this or do that, you're fired."
Eff that. As soon as they start talking like that, I start looking for another job. There's no sense of job security and they obviously don't value their employees.

I suspect they'd test with trace amounts just for being there for a shift every day.
Provincetown has about a half dozen dispensaries. The competition is incredibly fierce, but the way it shows up is absurdly nice customer service. There isn't enough margin in the product for price competition to really matter, so it is all about experience and personal loyalty. And no, those folks aren't high, they couldn't possibly do what they do high.

There isn't enough margin in the product for price competition to really matter, so it is all about experience and personal loyalty. And no, those folks aren't high, they couldn't possibly do what they do high.

The growing is the cheap part. There are the normal costs of brick and mortar, and lots of licensing. Most of the product sold is processed and packaged. And there are brands emerging to become dominant (we prefer the Wana gummies in my household).

I met a young man a couple months ago who said that he sold containers. When I asked him if he meant boxes he said no, they sell all sorts of containers and mostly to marijuana stores. I scolded him for making those ridiculous metal containers that are a pain in the ass to open.

For those that may not know, drug testing for marijuana started because a politicians relative died in a train crash and the driver tested positive. Now that they can make money off of the sale of weed it's no problem. Smoke up everybody.

Ditto for gambling.
