After Loss to Bills, Patriots Still Have Some Work To Do
Bob George
If the fact that the Patriots actually forced the Buffalo Bills into three punts is the only real positive of the game, you more or less have to shake your head and wonder how far this team has dropped off the playoff contender map.

"Some" work to do?

Kinda like saying that Galveston TX had "some work to do" after the Hurricane of 1900...

Two new tackles, likely a legit backup center, an elite outside corner, a DT to pair with Barmore (Lawrence Guy is our next best guy but he’s near the end), a pass rusher to bookend with Judon who is doing his swan dive like at the end of last season, a zero technique NT, another receiver, more speed at linebacker.

If Myles Bryant and James Ferentz are still in the team next year, you know it’ll be Belichick’s last. They’ll likely suck again.

So what you say is funny, sad, and correct at the same time.

This shouldn't be a shock to anyone that were 6-6. This just isn't a great team. Until you get a great QB with good weapons this is what you're gonna be left with.

ONE of the biggest blunders this team did was not use the first round pick on a WR to give Mac Jones a fighting chance. Our number 1 WR is a number 3 on some teams. The rest of them are 3's, and 4's. How do you expect a young QB to get better with a receiving group like that have?

With that being said I think they need to make a decision at the end of the year on Mac Jones. After year 2 they need to decide if they're gonna move on from him and look at drafting another QB. We all know what Mac is by now and what his limitations are. IMO I've seen enough to know he's not someone I want leading my team for the next 15 years. Might sound harsh but were not winning a SB with him and that's what you play for.

Those two (and Jake the New Fake) were Unquestionably our 3 Worst players to start the season; and outside of the new Punter - who's somehow Even Worse - they're STILL the worst players on the 53... And Lil' Billy & Al Groh's kid did absolutely ****ING NOTHING - ON PURPOSE!!! - to try to replace them.

But Billy just LOVES to do solids for his Friends & Family, even at the expense of the long-term future of this organization.
