NE met with Waddle - WADDLE IS HERE TO STAY

One year deal? If it wasn't obvious already, this seems to me to be a clear indicator that they'll try to draft a long-term LT this year, and Waddle will be there to help ease him in.

I was hoping Waddle would come back. But this news does not deserve an all caps title.
To me, the all caps title highlights the fact that 'Waddle' is an unfortunate name for a NFL player to have.

In fact, I don't think anyone would find it a great name.

But yeah, I'm glad he's back.

And it's always fun to criticize thread titles too.

Probably pretty cool if you are a cartoon duck.

Maybe by say game six he can be the backup to the stud the Pats draft at 31.

NE will apparently be meeting with Waddle a good deal in the coming months.

2018 is shaping up to be an interesting year... I hope they can keep up their success despite some movement.

LA Waddle Great signing he played RT very well the times he had to fill in. We still don't know what we have in the Garcia's and Jelks of the world. LA Waddle back in the fold gives the Patriots some Draft flexibility. We need a young TE to groom for the future they are some decent ones that can be add in the Second or Third. That said I would go Defense...Defense and more Defense!

I think it’s fair to ask whether if Cannon is just that much better at the right side or if he just happened to have his best year while he was at right tackle.

I dunna know either.

Personally I couldn't care less where he plays. Just seems hes done a really stellar job at RT.

Its a philosophical debate. Do you make one position great and the other average -to-below average or both just OK?

IIRC they did move him to LT during the Dallas game in 2015 and for a couple quarters he did ok.

Who knows.

If signing kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson gets an exclamation point, then damn it, signing LaAdrian Waddle deserves all caps.

By the way, as Fitzy says, “who names their kid ‘LaAdrian?’” I mean, really. Must be a family name.
