All the talk about Richard Seymour's new contract with the Faders reminded me of another moment to list here.
Back in the spring of 2001, I was hoping the Pats would draft a running back in the first round, especially since we had such a high pick (sixth IIRC?). I knew our defense wasn't the best in the league, but at the time it seemed it wouldn't matter if we couldn't score points because Bledsoe would have to throw every down.
When I heard Tagliabozo read Seymour's name, I thought, "Great, another first-round pick wasted." :enranged:
Needless to say, that turned out to be a rather erroneous statement.
