To paraphrase Marshall McCluhan, The mediots have become the message... scan the dials.. D & C on WEEI, Ordway on EEI, Felger on 98.5.... but no where is it more obvious than on Gresch and Zolak...

Had some minimal hope, for Gresch and Zo as they are football guys, but instead they descend into endless banter about stuff that has no bearing on what the audience wants to find out about, there are those who say at least they are talking Patriots.. in my view, they are absolute buffoons who have little of substance to offer...

If the audience as a whole truly didn't want to hear this stuff, they wouldn't. But because they really actually do, it will continue. The people created the Felgers of the world with with their demand (ratings) for that product.

Haven't heard Felger much, but it sounds like he's a Troll with a radio show.

I'm sure if you asked him about the Packers, he'd give you a much more real view. When it comes to the Pats he just trolls the fans

I can't stand the local media either.

They were ridiculous during the Video Witch Hunt, Moss's separated shoulder last season, then roasting Ortiz and VMart before a week into the baseball season.

The one I can't stand is Gresh on 98.5 and the morning guys on EEI. I can't take more than a few seconds of their garbage, and it's only when other stations are on commercial that I even consider torturing myself to their idiocy.
