Very good first report Pats1.

I understand that it's your first practice of the year and you need to get the rust off.

You did not mention Rodney and I understand that he is on the fake PUP.But if he shows himself this afternoon or tomorrow, I expect you to drop everything else and give a full detailed report with photo's.:rocker:

Sorry, don't think Rodney was out there today.

Koppen was, though, and one of my pictures shows him snapping to Brady in a drill. Very good sign.

As somebody behind me noted, it's very easy to mistake Reche Caldwell for David Givens. Very similar builds.

As I just said in Mrs. B's thread, to the best of my recollection it was Colvin playing in Willie's spot (LOLB/Sam).

Pats1- Just saw your reply in Mrs. B's thread....

The rumor has been that Willie got cut, in part, for refusing to switch sides with Colvin. I don't know why, but supposedly the left side would be better to protect Colvin's injury.

All rumors, but still interesting to follow up on.

From the limited reps he got (Maroney got the most, but Dillon was with the starting offense), it looks like yes.

This one got my eye. You are right. It looks like Gardner (47) is playing at ILB, and Chad Brown (98) is at OLB. Hopefully Chad will do better at OLB than he did last year at ILB.

I also found this pic very interesting Pats1. Ben Watson (84) blocking. Some LB is coming in on a blitz but I can't see his #. BTW, that's rookie O'Callagan (68).

My opinion on Chad Brown is that he would never have come back to the Pats if they were going to use him like last year. I'm guessing that he came back based on the promise that he could play on the outside, and rush the passer more than last year.

Regardless of how bad he was last year, this guy can play awesome when he is in the right system. I wouldn't totally write him off just yet, like a few people have.

I would not want to see him inside again....

This one is also interesting. 2nd string team. Chad Scott (30) and Eric Warfield (23) on the CB. Sanders (36) at SS. (95) TBC at ROLB and (98) Chad Brown at LOLB. I also see (91) M. Hill.
