He needs to put on about 10lbs of muscle as well. With Gunners quickness and fast learning, I think he has a potential to be a good WR in the Patriots system.

At least...closer to 20 lbs than 10 really. He needs to put on about 10 lbs of muscle as well.
I think our man Cordarrelle was #1 in Kickoff returns with an avg of 29.46 yards
#2 avg was 25.59
Our punt returns are pretty non existent. The kid brought spark and the potential of another playmaker.
Add this to the uncertainty in the kicking game and basically our punter and kick coverage are only getting it done.
We don't even really have a reliable fair catcher. It became Sanu when he came in.
Do we give a rookie a chance like Myers or Harry?
Well it's gotta be somebody other than Sanu. You would think James White has the skillset to be a good return man, but I don't think I've ever seen him back there.NO to Jules being our PR.
NO JULES = NO SEASON.
We need some speed.. Dorsett is not the answer unfortunately even tho he has combine numbersWhen Gunner was returning punts we were 6th in the league by DVOA, but we've since declined to 11th. Last year we were 17th in punt return DVOA.
Harry was supposed to have decent punt return skill, but it seems they are more concerned with having Harry figure out how to play wide receiver. Our punt returns are pretty non existent. The kid brought spark and the potential of another playmaker.

Gunner is a football player.... Stdhsm needs to spend some time this summer with Gunner.. Harry.. Myers... Imagine if Brady wants to come back and sees stidham working with these guysGunner was manifestly a good punt returner (6th in the league by multiple measures). He has a 4.5s measured 40, same as Edelman, and while he doesn't have Edelman's lateral agility he' s not bad, and demonstrated good acceleration and an ability to make sharp full speed changes of direction. He started with Winovich as one of the wedge breakers on kickoffs because of his ability to cut through traffic at full speed. He's a promising football athlete.
I have no real idea why so many here like to dump on our rookies before they really get a chance, maybe because guys like Gunner and Stidham were no one's binkies, or maybe because so many are in love with the foolish narrative that Belichick sucks as a GM and are looking for any apparently safe opportunity to sh*t on him.

David Andrews too...I would say we're missing Gronk, Amendola, AB, Gordon, Blount, Develin - in no particular order.... well maybe put Gronk first....
