Mike and Mike:Of the 4 teams left, the offense that scares you the least is _____?

I REALLY like the media and everyone else disrespecting the Pats. And I hope the team is hearing all of it. Offensively, the Pats played like crap, yet it was against the #1 defense, and even in a poor performance, the offense scored 27. So every time the offense faces the #1 defense, they score at least 27 points (scored 40+ against Baltimore when THEY were the #1 defense). Guess what, the Pats have the highest rated defense left.

Agreed, and it is much preferable to last week when they were all treating Houston like it was a gimmee.

Sadly, Mike & Mike are far from the only mediots dissing the Pats or selling them short

smh
Minihane is a worse troll than Felger because, unlike Mike, he takes himself seriously and actually thinks he has something important to say. Minihane is GUARANTEED to say whatever will pissed the most people off, and he proved being a full out troll is what works today. It's the ONLY possible reason to explain why he has a morning drive time job in a major market.

Felger pisses me off, but I know its just a schtick. If I met him, I'd probably slap him and then buy him a beer. If I ever meet Minihane, I'll punch him in the mouth, kick him in the balls, and when he hits the ground, kick him in the head.......and THEN spit on him. If you can't tell, I don't think much for the dispicable Kirk Minihane.

Pittsburgh is the least scary.
Green Bay is next.
New England is next.
Atlanta is the scariest offense.

Seems pretty evident.
Offenses as a whole, yep. Passing game could be debatable between GB and New England.

How in the world is the offense with TOM BRADY considered the least scary? These guys are just trolling for an audience.

And they found one.

McNabb's hot takes usually look more like this:

Mmmm it is rare to sleep on the Patriots offense.

Under Brady we have averaged 30 PPG.

Without Gronk (from SF on) we scored 30, 22, 26, 30, 16, 41, 35 and against the best defense in the playoffs 27 (i will take off 7 for the kick off return but not 7 for the interception... the kick off return was great but it took away a drive for the offense so I will split that with the good field position they got off the int).

That is 28.375 PPG without Gronk (I will not worry about safeties and such cause then you need to worry about every little thing and worry about other teams safeties and turnovers... too much to get in to).

They also scored that amount facing 2 of the top 5 Ds in the league in Denver (the best) and Houston (top 5). Pitt is more about perception than reality. They are 10th in PPG offense on the year and in the past 9 games have scored 25.89 PPG.

We have a better offense than them though they have the bigger names.

The best thing about this match up is our Bend Don't Break Defense should limit big Steeler plays. Over all they are not wrong about the Offenses. However, this match up is good for Brady and our offense in my opinion. Also let them all have big heads. The Steeler fan board is out of their mind with confidense. Between the Steeler fans, and Tomlin, and everything, this is one time where an AFC Championship to me is huge even if we do not win the SB.. We MUST not lose this next game to the Steelers.

I just heard this on the radio. The Steelers are 37% in scoring in the red zone on the road this season (third lowest in the NFL). Last week did nothing to relieve anyone of that concern. Yet, the Pats concern people less than the Steelers.

And they found one.

Except I don't listen to them. I just brush off meaningless hot takes like this, and make a note not to listen to whomever spouted this nonsense in the first place. So instead of finding an audience, they've actively driven one away. I don't think that's the same thing as dismissing their point of view.

It's the same way I feel about advertising. I hate when people say advertising worked because I'm talking about the ad or I noticed it, or what have you. The majority of advertisements that I notice and talk about are ones that I find annoying, distasteful, etc, so I make a point never to purchase their product or service.

They asked Trent Dilfer the same question and he said New England kills you one paper cut at a time. He said all of a sudden your defense looks down and realizes it is dying in a pool of blood.
Except that that's not even true anymore because Brady has been launching it deep all year. Do these guys even watch the games...?

Welp. None of those jacks are facing us.

Give the other teams a reason to sleep on us. Please.

Stats that matter

1) The 3 teams not named NE Patriots combined to lose 16 games...an average of 5.33 losses / team.
2) NE lost 2 games (1 with Brady)
3) The 3 teams not named NE Patriots gave up 327 (Pitt), 388 (GB), and 406 (Atl) points in the regular season....an average of 373.67 pts / team.
4) NE gave up 250 pts

My conclusion:
NE knows how to win better than any team left
NE will make enough defensive stops to insure victory

We're the only complete team left in the postseason. We're top 5 in all three phases. Title is ours for the taking.

Don't care about scurryness.

This is the #1 reason why if the team plays to it's full potential they win the SB.

Patriots have warts, all other team have advantages.

It comes from years of trying to figure out how to beat the Patriots, so you have to grasp for any perceived weakness (or make it up). They might as well just try the Patriot fatigue narrative (again).
