I only made it as far as this line in the introduction:

Below, B/R's NFL analyst Chris Simms offers his reactions, all the way to the formula's No. 1 pick
I did put a disclaimer on there with "by a moron" lol

This is the #1 reason why if the team plays to it's full potential they win the SB.
I think GB just outscores everybody... I hope I'm wrong but that is how I see it right now.

This is just more mediots that will feed off of Brady's publicity for their own financial gains.. and if we dispatch the Steelers, it will get worse and worse as we approach the Super Bowl

Brady feeds off of this stuff, I like our chances

Its an interesting debate .A lot of pats fan point to Pitts lack of TDs last week. But if you just compare skill position players ON PAPER it becomes debatable which offense is the least scary.

You can't fix stupid, just accept it and move on.

To far too many a player's performance is evaluated by his fantasy football points.

And to far too many the quality of a team is determined by how many fantasy football studs are on their roster.

The bolded part above sums up what is behind the current state of NFL reporting (well, that and gossip and contrived controversies aimed at capturing the attention of casual fans). That reporting in turn shapes the viewpoints of many that take the time to watch football games. Opinions become facts; perception is reality in the mind of the beholder.
I wish I could give this post more than a humble like/win/agree but this perfectly encapsulates and articulates my position toward the NFL.

Sadly, Mike & Mike are far from the only mediots dissing the Pats or selling them short

smh ... next level trolling

Minihan is literally wrong on everything he says. I think he does it on purpose. Every time I hear him make a prediction I now just tune out.. I mean literally is wrong on almost everything he says.

The Red Sox were like 10 and 10 last season and he said "they will never go above .500 for the rest the year."

"Baltimore is gonna kill the Pats, they will get exposed"

I know there have been more, but you get the point. + Minihan has some issues.. seriously, I don't know if anyone else has noticed.

Man, I gotta say we might be the most underrated 14-2 team of all time right now at this moment.

These predictions are being fueled by.. what "I" want to happen. Instead of actually looking at the facts. Big BenRapistburger has been pretty bad on the road this year. He has also been consistently owned by the Patriots.

I will be curious to hear whether or not the producers at ESPN follow up this daily topic with:
  • - Of the four teams left, which defense scares you the most?
And then the next day:
  • - Of the four teams left, which coaching staff scares you the most?

Not holding my breath on the possibility of those two faux debates.

No need to be scary. I would rather have them be underestimated

They asked Trent Dilfer the same question and he said New England kills you one paper cut at a time. He said all of a sudden your defense looks down and realizes it is dying in a pool of blood.
Mike Golic, on the day the Pats traded their first round pick to the jets for Bill (the elder GOAT), said it was a waste of a draft pick and just a bad deal for the Pats

I really hope the Pittsburgh db's think our offense is not scary.

Why are any of you listening to those clowns other than to laugh at them?
On the bus I go through the valley of no radio stations. My choices are 1) the Portuguese Language station 2)LET'S TALK ABOUT JESUS! 3) ESPN radio.

Seriously, I'm learning Portuguese and did you know JESUS DIED FOR YOU?

Seriously, Greenberg can be amusing after the Jets game.

The strength of the Patriots lies in their versatility, not their star power. Bell and Branch are really tough match ups, but so are Ryan, Jones, and Atlanta's RB's, and Rodgers, Cobb, Nelson, Montgomery etc...The Patriots have the GOAT, and a bunch of really good role players so the onus is on the coaches to get the most out of a game plan roster. I think they will because they are strong in every area but it should be fun.

16 years of history to look at and the conclusion that people keep coming up with is:

Let's underestimate the Pats.

Patriots score 27 against the best defense in the League.

Steelers can't score a touchdown against the Chiefs.

So basically this and 2016 has basically proven beyond a doubt, people are going to keep believing whatever the hell they want to be true.

Agreed, and it is much preferable to last week when they were all treating Houston like it was a gimmee.

Remember last year when nobody picked the Broncos to win at home in the AFCCG against the Pats although they had beaten them earlier in the season and have owned them at home? That's right, because the Broncos fell below expectations in their win the prior week, while the Patriots beat an overrated Chiefs team, despite that I thought at the time the Pats showed very concerning flaws, moreso than the Broncos. But the Pats were the sexier team with the superstars on offense - Gronkowski and Edelman - very top heavy but would certainly be unstoppable.

Seeing the parallels yet!?

No one on here saw the Houston Texans as the best D. Now after we win the game I hear a lot of people refering to them as the best defense in the league.

Either people under rated the Texans defense. Or
Just saying it now to make the Pats look better after they beat them... but struggled a bit on offense.

To me it seems like the Houston Texans have a really good defense and they came to play last Saturday.

Motor Mouth and Meathead. Cant stand that show.

The Laurel and Hardy of sports media.
