Thanks for this link. All in all not as bad as I expected! There were actually people on BB's side.....except for the guy who said he looks like the Unabomber on game day and the classy guy with the "db" comment.... Why is Rush Limbaugh calling him names? I guess he figures he won't get suspended if he insults white guys....... One guy was still crying over Kosar!

My favorite part is all the people who misspelled "genius".......must be something in the water!

It's not really healthy reading those post on the Browns board.

Anyway, when I watched his press conference after the game I burst out laughing after 2 mins. I couldn't help it.

Did anyone stop to think that it wasn't just the loss that was bothering him?

I think that he was royally pissed at the offcials and was trying real hard not to explode at the press conference. That would have been great stuff for the media but not what BB wants to have happen at a press conference .

Like stuffing a pressbox photograph of 12 men on the field in an Official's Pocket?

Made his point now didn't he

I'm losing track. You're a troll of what team?

"i've watched it many times and looked at the rule, and it was a correct call. but that doesn't make it any less outrageous."

Um...yes it does.

"it was the right call, no doubt. but i hope you agree that it was a highly unusual, perhaps one-of-a-kind call"

Why would we agree with that. It was not a one-of-a-kind call. I've seen it several times before and since.

"somebody tell me to chill out."

Chill out. ;0

The thread on the Browns board was like a train wreck...... I had to read the whole thing. If the Browns fans thought he was insane for being grumpy at that pc, I can't imagine what they would have been saying if he had thrown a nutty at the media.......HA! No pun intended!

Do you think that he was more than just disappointed and down because of the loss and that he was enraged about the officiating?

Steelers of course

That too bad, I almost wanted the Steelers to win. Now, I'm thinking that both teams should lose.

Well the Pats and Broncos tried to prove that both teams could actually lose the same game. Doesn't work.

I think he was upset about the officiating, but I think he was probably more angry at the uncharacteristic mistakes made by the players and the fact that the boys let emotion get in the way of intellect.....Tom Brady yelling at Lynch and Willie and Izzo going at each other! That is not the Patriots style! Also, BB knows as well as the rest of us that poor officiating is no excuse for losing that game. I'm no shrink, but he was probably blaming himself for not preparing better and maybe was upset at the way he behaved on the sidelines..... He said mother f-er more times in ten minutes than I have said it in my whole life!

That's the point. This wasn't after the game. This was the next day in front of the local beat guys who were just trying to get perspective on what he would say to a bunch of guys who hadn't experienced a loss in the playoffs before.

He went off about a playoff officiating crew, and this team isn't the same team. I won't divulge what I said to them.

Real secret stuff. Season's over. Be a man, not John Thompson and Georgetown.

What is said in the locker room should stay in the locker room, and BB is right many of the players on the 2005 team weren't on the other teams. Besides I'll bet that BB is expecting to be back to the top of the mountain in the near future, why do a post mortem for a run that is in progress.

I'm not sure if any of you heard their Monday session where they blasted Belichick for his post-game conference.

Russo used the word "disgrace" repeatedly.

Mike said Belichick should be the last guy to complain about officiating after the Tuck Rule game. He said that Tuck ruling helped him win the SB and established his dynasty. He said that 80% of the coaches would agree that Brady fumbled. Mike and Mad Dog said if anyone benefitted from officiating all these years, it was the Patriots.

They went on to praise Dungy for his post-game conference.

Mike was also very profuse in praising Brady for the way he handled his post-game conference. He repeatedly called Brady a true leader and how fortunate the Patriots is to have him.

.

thats cause belichick is a whiny little *****! even u patsie fans should know that!

Belichick didn't complain about the refs. He made implications, but when it's a fact that the officiating WAS bad, what's wrong with that?? Are you not allowed to tell the truth if something in your past has relevance?

And while we're on the subject, this whole 'patsie' thing really amazes me. Seriously, if I ever called somebody a 'patsie', I'd have to kick my own ass, play on words or not.
