Silver used to be one of the great journalists in football.

Since he joined the NFL network, he has become nothing but a talking head.

He is a writer for the players, and has long been a brady supporter. Also, he has always praised kraft as an owner. His tone about both has been that if they apologized, we would forgive them.

His relationship with belichick on the other hand, has been very rocky for a long time. He, like many, stands behind the line of "sources in the league know" about belichick being a cheater. That's the BS reporting that I have grown to despise. If that is out there, TELL US! The reason pats fans are defensive of the team and coach is because we are constantly told how evil he is, without a shred of actual evidence.

All that does is make fans get even more angry and protective, and creates a situation where journalists have to make very lazy conclusions to get some type of conviction against a team/player/coach. I liken it to a cop in the 60's planting evidence on a guy cause he's gotten away with something before. You don't get to play God with people's reputations because you don't like who they are, or how difficult they make your job.

Silver is another media clown that has realized the 1 contract story every 5 years he gets from Brady's camp isn't worth passing up on 12 hour a day appearances on NFL network bashing the patriots. His supposed "objectivity" is an insult to MY intelligence.

Same thing with Ben "Violin" playing the worlds smallest violin crying about the Pats. He came in a clueless dink and within a year learned that acting like Felger would get him more air time on CSNNE. You watch a CSNNE clip and you'd think Felger bought a new parrot with the way he looks at him with approval and bleats back Felgers words. Good for him since its apparent he has ZERO patriots sources and they routinely laugh at his trash "reporting"
