McGinest: Frigid Playoff Game Against Titans Sent Players to the Hospital

The NFC championship game in 2007 had kickoff temp at -1, and with wind chill it was -23. Apparently Tynes suffered some permanent foot damage after that game.

He experienced swelling but what caused permanent damage was the staph infection he suffered when he elected to sign with the Buccaneers. He apparently sued them for $20 million and still believes if it hadn't been for that, he'd still be in the league:

I forgot that the Patriots actually brought people in after the Bucs visited in 2013 to ensure it didn't spread at Gillette...that was pretty crazy.

The latest reports are trending toward higher temp.s which are only a little cooler than last Sunday's game against the Chargers. But only on Saturday will we know just how cold it will be on Sunday evening.

One thing for sure, the Chargers game was the perfect lead up to this game--at least in terms of weather conditions.
