Loathing the Canadians in the 70s shaped my Irish drinking patterns I’m most sure of !!It occurs to me I've disliked some organizations and individuals, some rather intensely, in my life. For example, I can't abide a welcher or family abuser and I still despise the Montreal Canadiens with the intensity of a thousand burning suns. That said, I've never disliked anyone or anything enough to turn my wife loose on them (shudders at thought).
That's just a bridge too far for me

Just one more thing to walk backThat is what she said, Mayo did not say it. You can’t blame him for what his wife says. This is an easy one for Mayo to escape. I am not worr for him one bit.
Mayo likely thought that he would get more than 12 months at the job.Bro... Your boy Thunder made an entire TV series portraying the coach who won him 6 super bowls as a super villain...
Maybe you shoulda seen this coming?
What would he sue for? He’s already getting the full amount of his contract. He could sue for defamation, but he’d have to prove he didn’t do anything Kraft claimed of him and Kraft wisely hasn’t claimed anything specific and has taken full accountability publicly. Plus the lawsuit would blackball him from any future coaching job.We all know that Robert Kraft screwed Mayo. If it can be proved in a court of law, then good for Mayo and the Patriots fans. It could be a civil case and the NFL hates them. I sincerely hope there is a case to burn Robert Kraft and Jonathan.
It doesn't seem to bother anyone that Mayo got screwed. We all know that Robert Kraft screwed Mayo. If it can be proved in a court of law, then good for Mayo and the Patriots fans. It could be a civil case and the NFL hates them. I sincerely hope there is a case to burn Robert Kraft and Jonathan.
After he gave an interview with Curran during that same bye week that was all about "I'll be better in year 2" and "I never thought I could build a culture in year 1". Sounded like he was just writing off the rest of the year - and he did.

For an intelligent man, Mayo is not very smart. By sucking up to RKK and helping move BB out the door sooner than planned, he sent a message to the players that individual goals are more important than team wins. His mindless statements about player empowerment only made things worse. Personally I don't think waiting a couple of years to learn would have helped, Mayo doesn't seem to understand the effort necessary to compete as an NFL coach. It was the right thing for the organization to admit the mistake and move on.From the fan perspective, that interview was incredibly frustrating. Mayo just seemed so smug and casual about it all, no sense of urgency in anything he said. And that B.S. about not being able to build culture in one year -- ugh. I'm so glad we're rid of this guy.
Not to mention if you took a drink every time he said “at the same time”, you’d be dead in 10 minutes. From the fan perspective, that interview was incredibly frustrating. Tootsie’s…on the Dade and Broward border I guess
Well Mayo's relationship with his wife is the same as his relationship with his players - that is to say, he's not the one in control

Dude’s gonna be working at a Tennessee car dealership for the next 20 years if he’s not careful.I'm sure he has his side of the Story
One day he will have a chance to tell it
If Mayo ever wants to coach in the NFL again he better keep his wife away from the keyboard
