John harbaugh was a db coach with the eagles when hired by Baltimore i think ? worked out.
I actualy think the team will do better next yr, better QB draft pick and krafts will spend money to make their selection stick. What happens in the next 5 yrs is the question.
One thing stood out to me is that there was no gratitude or acknowledgement from mayo about bill .instead he made jokes about getting away from him... Was kinda sad and disappointing .

Loved Mayo as a player , not so much as a coach due to his demeanor. I hope I am wrong and he can turn this team around, but if they choose to stick with Mac, it would be his first biggest blunder as the head coach !!

I don't care what transpired the last couple of years, you don't disrespect the guy that drafted you, coached you to an all pro level, that gave you an opportunity to coach on the Patriots and someone that mentored you. He came across as sucking up to RK. As I said, maybe I am wrong on this , I really hope he does well and am rooting for him to do so, I just didn't like some of the tone of the press conference..

I hear ya. Some of the digs felt a bit unnecessary but on the whole I didn’t have a problem with him highlighting what he would do differently from Bill.

In terms of the sucking up thing though? That’s how it works with careers. You don’t think Bill Belichick sucked up to Kraft and talked **** about Parcells to him?

Well sure but when you ask them what they are doing about it and they offer nothing concrete, it’s very concerning.

I agree, they should've just said "we're on to the off-season" over and over again.

The only thing ignored was how it equaled wins.

Feel free to show us the analytics on how it's relevant and turns into wins.

Otherwise, I think it's fair to question the value of said statement.

He doesn't care about wins because trying to build a dynasty has nothing to do with wins.

There doesn't need to be balance in all things. That's social engineering. The best thing to do it get out the way and let people interact the way they want to interact. Let people hire who they want to hire.

Kraft hired who he wanted to. Glad to see you support his choice.

I understand where Jerod is coming from. I just don't think it's relevant in the work place. Encouraging "I do see color" takes is derogatory and tells me that Jerod perhaps needs some growing to do.

Maybe Mayo believes white people are evil.
