implement a scheme that pulls from NE historical concepts
I don’t know why we would want that !

Those concepts only works with TB12 under center.

I like this! If SB stays then this would allow us to add more defensive coaching talent to the staff since DC will be "open". Also if SB wants to be a HC then having this role will help him get experience on each side of the ball

I searched Mike Reiss' Twitter posts and there was nothing like this posted.

6. Belichick sons: “Steve Belichick and Brian Belichick, Bill's sons, have been told they've earned the opportunity to remain with the Patriots if they choose to do so. Mayo and Steve have a close friendship, so the projected fit on staff would be as an assistant head coach/senior adviser type. Brian, who came up through scouting and most recently served as safeties coach from 2020 to 2023, was still showing up at Gillette Stadium late this past week.”

Wow - they're doing smart things???
Love to hear the 2 OC interviews. Really would love the package deal - Nick as OC, Zac as PS-Coord/QB's.
(Nick has more experience to be ready for OC)
Stevie not in consideration for DC is odd... unless it's Covington, which makes sense.

Now, just please nail Free Agency: (*Patriot)
*Bourne, *Onwenu, *Jennings, *P. Brown, *Henry or Shultz, Pittman or Samuel, ~Edwards-Helaire, *Austin
Bonus returner if $$: Dugger, Bryant, Uche, Reagor

The same tree that produced 6 Superbowls??
Some might say a mighty oak..

It was either Bill or Tom.

I know you're not gonna give the assistants the credit.

You've seen how they done on their own.

With the exception of Covington, everyone in the building is trying to get out.

Anyone not wearing rose colored glasses can see this is a massive vote of no confidence from the people that know him best.

BOB left a NFL OC job for a college OC position. That is practically unheard of. No one wants to work for this guy because they know he’s in over his head.

BoB leaving probably has more to do with him not trusting Kraft moreso than him not believing in Mayo.

Well, maybe the Pats staff will be staying put, unless they want to go to Atlanta…

It's the final year of his deal so no real implications for him. Dallas is going to always underachieving no matter who's the HC.

did
If that to be the case. ...Then it opens the door for Caley to return. Curran and Callahan mentioned thst Caley was approached with the actual OC job in 2022.. however ended up declining as he would not be named OC.
Robinson , Caley and Bo Haragree back would be ideal.
With a new O line coach

Hit piece against Mayo.
lol this is not a real news site, and this piece doesn’t even make sense. They haven’t even interviewed anyone yet, so how can it be claimed that no one wants the job? The article even cites Wes Welker as being interviewed, even though the only place claiming that was a parody account.

Fake news.

This is the home run situation, Zac + Nick coming together would be perfect and just what the team needs. Let those guys groom their new QB and install a modern offense. Covington becomes DC, let Steve B handle a bit more of things and get exposure to the entire operation to help Mayo out in the same way that that Mayo got exposure with
Bill.

This sounds like a really good plan if it all works out. But they still need a god damn GM.
