Alright then. Mayo is the new HC. I’m shocked. I think the Krafts probably are as well. I’m sure they expected to have more time before Bill was no longer with the team. The next domino that needs to fall is the removal of Groh. Groh has to go is my political campaign slogan going forward. Everyone keeps talking about Eliot Wolf but no one has told me what makes him a shoe-in, or even a special candidate besides sharing his Father’s last name. What has he done exactly?

How many 6 win seasons does a non 9 time Superbowl appearing coach get?

We know 9 Superbowls buys you 3 lost seasons so I'd say 1.5 years.

Everyone involved with Mayo have gone out of their way to talk about how much different he is from Belichick. I’m not necessarily worried about the fresh start angle of true from the HC perspective . I’m more worried about what changes they’re going to make in player evaluations and personnel decisions.

IMO I think his best option would be to keep BOB and lean heavily on him to not just be his OC but also for advice as an HC on some of the day to day stuff. BOB has lots of experience in that regard.
