Hightower is a lot better than some here gave him credit for. With Hightower and Dugger out, it was very predictable that crappy Godchaux and crappy Bentley would put up their loser specials of giving up 1st downs and accumulating a lot of cheap tackle stats.

Godchaux and Bentley SUCK.

Bentley is probably our only LB returning along with Uche who rarely played.

I think the bottom line is bad drafting hurts and the price paid is for years afterward!

our defense lacks talent in the front seven.

our offense lacks a true x receiver.

Also trying to rebuild on the fly thru FA is fools golds. The team right now has so many bad contracts that are back loaded and difficult to get out from.

Personally, I’d spend a few weeks with Sophie in Kauai or Tenerife first. Then I’d lift, run and throw with a coach in warm weather, inviting some of the fellas (Bourne, Henry, etc.) to join me.
