Mediocre OL, WR/TE & the HOF RB will be 33 years old in the playoffs. They also still have a weak CB room. This is a very expensive trade where they probably would've been better off spreading out their assets on both sides of the ball.

But I would note that for nine of the past TEN years the Rams have been proving that you can field a competitive team WITHOUT having a #1 pick in the draft. Maybe that philosophy is starting to filter down to other teams.
Drafting uber-talents Kupp in the 3rd in 2017 and Puka in the 5th in 2023 unsurprisingly coincides with the Rams elevated competitiveness.

Coach & QBs helped a bit too

When he is on the field he is great. But how often will he be available? Injuries have been a concern with him.

Nonetheless, I can appreciate a GM going all in to win a championship. It may not work. But you have to take swings to hit home run.

will he make an impact in Baltimore ?

He instantly becomes the best dl/edge they have, but will his presence make that much of a difference?

Think the ravens would gave been better off targeting an Edge rusher in the draft for that compensation... could have gotten into the top 5 of the draft and taken a top flight prospect for those two picks... then spent the money (again) on an over the hill WR in FA, like Reek... he'd fit right in there...

IDK, are the Ravens in a position to take someone at 14 that may take a year or two to become a dominant edge rusher when Crosby can make an immediate impact. As I said in my last post, their window with Lamar may only be another two years before he starts to regress.

Sorry but he's not worth that and the $30m
I think he would be worth that for a team definitely in a SB window and does not have an injury prone star QB. IE the Rams or Bills. Something has gone wrong if the Patriots are not in their SB window by 2028 at the very latest. Not there yet despite 2025 results.

The two most important players on Baltimore are now Crosby & Lamar. What are the odds neither get injured?

I'd rather have Milton Williams on my team, especially if it didn't cost draft picks, oh wait

Crosby ain't that guy. I hope the Pats land Hendickson.

Bold and risky move by ravens
Will either pay off big or be a disaster.
Once in a while I wish pats would make a bold risky move
They never do

LMAO, horrific deal for the Ravens. Yeah, you’re probably not going to get a player of Crosby’s caliber in the draft, but you’re also not going to have to pay that draft pick 35 million/year.

Unless you’re the Rams, these trades never work out. Let’s look at the players traded for two first round picks over the last 10 years.

Khalil Mack- Bears did nothing during the time Mack was with them.

Ramsey- Rams probably do this one again.

Stafford- Worked out.

Tunsil- Horrific

Jamaal Adams- Even more horrific.

Watson- somehow even more horrific.

Good. Now we can stop wasting time fantasizing about the guy. I'm sure he be very decorative, sitting there on Baltimore's IR list.

Brady fleeced them and the Ravens wont sniff a Super Bowl anytime soon.
The jets-like team playing in LV and led by Brady will likely not be in the SB for decades.

Idiotic trade by Bmore and the reason why that they are losers.
So, you think that the LV jets will have a better future in the next few years?

Of course, they would if our 100% hindsight poster were in charge of their draft picks and management.

How has Lamar worked out to date?

Spin us up some accolades on how he is El;ite.

Your predictions and a $1.00 would buy a 10 oz Pepsi.

Feel free to believe in LV.

I'm sure the mediots, analysts and bettors might even believe that BAL is now washed up and will be less of a threat to win their division than LV and get into the playoffs. NOT now, and NOT for at least 3 years.

Raiders are a dumpster fire. Hate that Brady is associated with them. Two first round picks is nice but I have no reason to believe they will turn that into anything
