Matthew Golden

Why? His stats are far worse than Golden's. He has never had a 700 yard season. Ok he is fast, but so what. So was Tyquon.
I like the kid. I liked him in Alabama too.

I doubt it. Not after claiming he wouls set a new record and then running a 439.
Lot of that going around. Tez was going to as well. Meh. WRs have big mouths.

The Texas Boys are better they played in a real Conference. Bond was also hurt most of the year.

Ok let's talk....

Matthew Golden who just ran a 4.29 officially.

He was not on anyone's radar until the CFP. That's when he climbed into the 1st round discussion.

After today a case could be made that we have a new name to consider at the top of the draft.

i actually like Bond better. We could get a OT in the first round and Bond in the second. That's a pretty good start

Not taking either over Tetairoa McMillan who is now in play after the Bungles Tagged Tee.

What is the excuse for previous seasons without production?

Do we need yet another young, low production WR with a big mouth in our WR room?

McShay and Muench, these former scouts inc guys on ESPN, have Golden and McMillan as the top 2 wr's. Quench has Golden 1, McShay sounded like he has McMillan one, but is on the fence and may end up putting Golden over him.

Didn't say where they think they'll come off the board.

Nope. Do you think they should go all Bill Belichick and just draft the ones with good personalities?

Didn't he run a 4.7 or some ****?

We saw X Worthy Translate we can go off that similar players.

That is my point. Even with Mahomes, he had 638 yards. Thats it. Rice was out. Dhop was pathetic, and JuJu was himself. And Worthy still put up only 600 yards. That is Patriot worthy and on par with this team, but we are trying to get better, not stay the same.

What are you even talking about? Bill drafted Boutte and Pop. I kinda remember Boutte having a rough attitude in year 1 and then Pop was mouthy this year. How about we just draft players who improve this team? Bond doesn't do that. He maintains status quo.

All I am saying is it's a week top end class and he's going higher than @PatsFan2 favorite day 3 pick.

This happens every year. A guy plays inconsistently all year and then shows up big in a few games at the end of the season. He runs a blazing 40 time and the pundits rocket him up their draft boards just because of the 40 time. Sure, Golden has potential and may be a good WR in the NFL, but blasting him ahead of Tet is silly. Golden had 58 receptions for 987 yards and 9 TDs. He is not on par with the top of last year's draft. He wasn't a guy who dominated and changed games. He didn't break 100 yards a single time in the regular season. The games against GA and ASU were amazing, but those were not his norm. Just saying that you cannot expect those games to be the norm.
He was already considered borderline 1st round pick prior to the combine.

And? That changes nothing I wrote. He did not rocket past Tet because of his 40 time. He is not a fit for the Pats.
