I love Josh and wanna see him do well; when DUIrsay gets rid of Grigson and Pagano next year I think that is his best bet. Could also see Rivera getting canned if Carolina underperforms this year. Just don't wanna see him in the dumpster fire that is SF.

He might trade for Jimmy but York is a f*cking loon. Dude couldn't manage a Dairy Queen, let alone an NFL franchise.

I'd agree that Josh has earned another shot, and I'd bet he has genuinely learned a ton from what went wrong in DEN plus having 5 more years with BB, but for his sake I just hope he picks the right one. The Niners have a pretty rich history over Josh's lifetime (roughly the same as mine) but it is clearly a pretty terrible ownership/upper management environment, so I guess I'd wish for a better situation for him. If he really wants it then good luck to him, but unless it's a total control situation I don't see the appeal of SF, at all.

I'm glad he didn't that job could be a career killer. No home games for 2 years, aging QB who may retire soon, and in the toughest division in football.
