Marshawn Lynch to the Patriots? Don't Buy It

Steve Balestrieri

Marshawn Lynch to the Patriots? Sorry, that dog won’t hunt.

Yesterday reports surfaced from Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald tweeted out that the Skittles-loving, non-media talking bruiser of a running back said that if his talks with the Raiders fall through, that he’d be interested in going to New England.

He's kindofa weirdo, but weirdos can be fun, so I wouldn't mind if they checked him out. If they do, it should be a very thorough examination of hios medical/athletic status. My preference for now, though, would be to bring back LG, whom I would love in fairness to see make a few bucks here or elsewhere.

I bet Marshawn as a Pat would be about as effective as Steven Jackson was on the Pats.....that is to say 'not very'.

Almost as comical as being unhappy with the Pats and getting sent to Cleveland.

Hard to tell, given the state of the 2015 Seahawks. They weren't exactly a dominant run blocking OL after the Graham trade. If he's anywhere near as effective as he was in 2014, it's a no brainer.

I don't see it happening at all. Just pointing out that he may not be as "done" as some are claiming.
