Romeo Doubs just turned 26 a couple of months ago.

I almost **** a brick seeing Romeo posted as 31. Why did they sign him over diggs and wasn't he in the same draft class as Christian Watson zoomed thru my head before you corrected them

Also, may I add, a hamstring “procedure” is WAY worse than just a hamstring injury. Pretty pissed off about this one, they traded UP for the guy for god’s sake. Didn’t they check out his medical ? Plus, they passed up a ton of guys in the draft, TEs, edge rushers, etc.

Hollins makes 4.2 million a year. That's what a #3 WR makes.

Boutte probably wants close to Doubs like 2 years 25-30 million.

If the Patriots thought Boutte was a #2, they probably could have had him for less than Doubs.

Right or wrong, the board has to accept that the team has decided Boutte is not a #2, and that's where Boutte wants to be paid.

I don't think he's a #2 either but at the same time I don't want to be rid of him just yet; not until either the end of TC or somebody like Diggs is signed... Too bad the team didn't draft even one WR to soften the blow of a possible early Booty departure...

I honestly like the edge group. Is it elite? No. Is it good? Yes. Landry got hurt early last season and was never the same. He is a good player. Jones is an upgrade compared to Chaisson. Add in Gabe Jacas and that is a pretty good 3. Not to mention Ponder should improve and if Swinson has anything that be a bonus. I still have hopes for him as a pass rush specialist. The talent is there. The upside is there
As is a very solid floor. I think our edge rush will be middle of the pack.

1. I am and have been a big Boutte supporter

2. Boutte hasn't had to fight in a talent-crowded room yet.

It's hard to feel confident on his worth knowing that. Say he plays for the Pats this year, when we have Brown and Doubs. Would Boutte have as much opportunity/yards?

Wait until we have some hard data then we can have a grown up discussion about how well he is doing. The trade happened, people who know much more about the players involved thought he would be a benefit to the team. They may or may not be correct, but either way constantly complaining about something that has already happened is tiresome to the rest of us. You stated your position you didn’t like the trade, hopefully you are wrong, and hopefully if you are wrong you will be happy you were.

There are two or three posters on here who constantly ***** about the team. We all know who they are and most laugh at their schtick. The team went to the superbowl last year and looking at their posts you would think they were 0-17. When they are the ones who like your posts you should realize you are going down the wrong path.
