Mac snubbed by the 2022 Pro Bowl

Really stupid to pick players based on athleticism for the competition but designate this as an honor for how someone performed at QB.

Huntley had 2 TDS.

pro bowl is ludicrous. Who cares.

seriously, how are the alternate QB's picked? How did Huntley with 2 TD passes make it?

I think they should have sent Watson, imagine how many massages he could book in Vegas!!

Most likely, a group of Ravens players got together and decided to all vote for him. It’s been theorized that the fan vote is a sham and it’s actually the player vote that makes up the majority of the end results, and this would seem to support that idea.

And to clarify…he actually had zero passing TDs at the time of his selection. They both came after Pro Bowl voting was complete.

I actually put Zappe at the bottom of the list initially but took him off because I didn’t wanna be too spicy.
Zappe was better in all volume and efficiency stats. It's actually embarrassing. And crazy.

Huntley had 2 TDS.

Pro Joke Is more like it... we know MAC10 didn't have a great season behind defacto play caller BB/Patricia/judge.

However I'd be more impressed if Bill O'Brien gets him to an ALL PRO level.. next season..

It makes you wonder what the process is here. How does Huntley become the guy? Who voted for him? Surely not the fans…
Yeah... who knows who actually makes the votes.. I stopped paying attention to the Pro joke years ago.. I pay more attention to all pro selections.. I'm expecting big things from Mac this upcoming season..

Is anyone actually going to watch this?

Not really, that’s kind of why the NFL keeps desperately changing this **** to try and find some audience that’s interested. It still gets big ratings compared to other sports but it’s super low in NFL terms.

Count me as the one of the last remaining people that actually likes watching the Pro Bowl, and I was open-minded to see what this flag football game would look like. I'm fine with gimmicky competitions....I loved the QB challenges from years ago

But I'm sorry, this is where I draw the line....a guy who didn't even play have the season and had more INTS than TDS?!?!?!? Now we are on to the land of the absurd.

What would have been just as absurd is if Russell Wilson made it, but can you imagine if he made it as like the token 10th alternate and that had trade value ramificiations? I don't know all the specifics of the Seahawks/Wilson trade, but that would be wild if a crazy Pro Bowl nomination twisted the knife even more for the Broncos.

I liked the Pro Bowl the way it was years ago. After the Super Bowl in Hawaii and everyone played. One last chance to enjoy the greats of the game before the offseason.

On sports talk here in Atlanta, Hugh Douglas, a former NFL player and Pro Bowler, said that they basically go down the list of QBs, calling and seeing if they want to play.
He speculates, that given the nature of this Pro Bowl this year, most the guys just weren't interested in going and that Huntley was probably very low on the list.
