Man, what a thought. Despite the fact that BB would never have picked Maye in the top 3, imagine if Maye came in as a rookie with OldManBill still the coach here... he might have been completely destroyed and benched for Hoyer by now.
I hope Vrabel doesn't turn into Bill too fast, but for now, I'm so thankful for the HC, OC, DC and overall team trajectory we have.

Maye's rookie year was nowhere near as bad as having disinterested Belichick and incompetent Patricia/Judge. To me, there is a profound difference between just being a bad coach in Mayo and being disinterested like Belichick.

Plus, Alex Van Pelt may not have been a world class offensive mind, but he was, at least, an offensive mind.
