Unless you think Houston willl get the top seed,it looks like the West Coast (Denver is close enough) may have the answer to the top AFC seed come playoff time
Pittsburgh looks to have the hardest road trip facing one of the best defenses and running games in the league in the 49ers....Ben is hurting but will play and Harrison will be out with the suspension so Gore may run wild.
Baltimore is facing a team in SD with its back against the wall...SD is arguably the most talented team in the AFC with a losing record and could be a challenge to a good Raven's secondary but not its the strength of thier defense and thats where Vincent Jackson could have a big game.
The Pats look to have the easiest challenge out west as they face a good but not great Broncos defense and the 'mystique' of the "Mile High Messiah" to face but this simply is a game that the Patriots SHOULD win if they can put 28 or more on the board and they should as Gronkowski and Hernandez are mismatches to their secondary (on paper at least)....even our putrid defense is unlikely to allow 30 points to the Broncos.
Houston is at home against Carolina and SHOULD have a cakewalk against the Panthers, but you have T.J. Yates who is still green around the edges and could have a 4 INT game at any point from here on out.
This IS the Pats BEST chance to obtain the #1 seed or at least be tied for the spot with Houston.....
IMO Baltimore or Pittsburgh WILL lose ...Maybe both this weekend,But I see at least ONE of them losing....and hope we don't.
After this weekend it gets easier for all these teams....We may see a seperation from the #1 seed contender and pretender come the end of this weekend.
