I understand keeping Izzo on the 53 so that he may possibly return later in the year, and bringing back Bolden after Izzo goes on IR. What I don't understand is releasing Croston/Tobin or even Langi when there is an open space.

Maybe they feel that releasing them when there are over 1,000 other released players ups the odds that they'll be back for the PS. I'm sure there either is or is going to be a deal for a WR, but couldn't they just release someone when that happens? The other option is that they feel none of those guys are good enough to be on the team. We'll see what happens.
