lol at the sad state of "sports journalism"

It's bad. All of a sudden (over the past 6-ish months), I have had to start holding things no closer than 8"-12" from my eyes to be able to read stuff. My wife's annual enrollment period is coming up and for the first time she's going to have to add me to her work's vision plan (we're all on her insurance). I think my warranty appears to be running out

cheap readers lol.....i have a pair of 1.75's stashed in every room, my car, my office

keep a good supply of bread crumbs or glow rocks in your car....so you can follow the trail back home...like I DO !!

We have a new fangled thing called GPS which you can use on your phone to replace the bread crumbs and glow rocks. GPS works really well, you might want to try it.

heh...the past four or five years the ingredient lists on all the food stuffs I buy are so small that a person with 20/20 eyesight needs a magnifying glass...seems to be spreading to the rest of the market...I use the magnifier on my cell phone...oh, and restaurant menus! Have you noticed? Since the pandemic places have come out with a single laminated card for their menus? Try reading THEM in a dimly lit booth...especially the PRICES, which seems to have skyrocketed everywhere. LMAO...beats the Venezuelan alternative but still...we're getting killed on the back end here

LOL, Oh, yes, that too. Now I have to read the labels and worry about things like sodium, etc. in order to get a good report for my annual doctor's visits. So now thanks to this, reading those labels has been a challenge...although at least the lighting in the grocery stores tends to at least be good enough where I can kind of see. But man...I'd certainly say I'm hitting the "cliff" ... definitely hit me out of nowhere

always remember Boss...it could be WORSE. I'll admit this...my biggest complaint these days are the super mommies that bring two or three of their toddlers into a crowded supermarket and do nothing as they run around from fruit to fruit and display after display grabbing everything with their hands and wiping their noses on everything. Don't get me wrong, I love kids but screaming dizzy little spiraling toddlers and month old babies yowling for a diaper change at the deli counter is rather rage inducing...and DO NOT utter a word about her out of control market mice...she'll rip your head off.

it's not about understanding the game, providing insight.....it's all about self promotion, getting hits, hot takes and getting noticed (doesn't matter if it's ********)......tom at times has been one of the good ones, but he's fallen victim to the "nu media" mentality, imho.......he's no volin, but he's definitely sending ben a christmas card
I agree. I listen to his podcast and occasionally read his NBCSN posts. He tries to walk the line between being a respected but poor media member or a well off troll, and often doesn't pull it off. It seems he's taking a lot of coaching from Felger. He even has that baby with diaper rash affectation that Felger does.

“Prentice McCray” peaked about 10 years ago at the very least, he jumped the shark when “Quick Slants“ started, traded his former credible skepticism for the phony hot takes he now peddles. What’s the last notable story he broke? Oh well, at least he got a free ”hair system” in exchange for his virtue. Better to be a has been than a never was like most of the sports media cretins in this market.

I like Curran but there is no way I'm watching his postgame show with Ted Johnson there bashing the team after a win.
Well,, FWIW, they were doing anything but bashing them.

I think you need to be more open and sincere about your feelings, AQPE...I sense you're holding back..

Weed is legal now. Smoke a little before going to the supermarket.

uh...yeah OK, Phineas Fleabagger. I have a license to grow in the state of R.I. and provide to the state dispensaries.Try less snot and more friendly banter...

Their most impressive defensive performance of the season… not that time they held Tom Brady to zero passing TD’s but now when the offense carries its weight and doesn’t turn it over. We deserve a better class of reporting.

tom curran, or at least his intern, didn't even know the Patriots record on twitter this evening
That's Tom E Curran

duh !

I listened to one of his podcasts this week. Couldn't help noticing his difficulties remembering players' names.
I think he does these podcasts while staring at himself in the mirror
I also think I heard he and Florio manscape together (I could be wrong)

Like every Sony electronic devise that broke the day after the warranty expired, Age 45 is apparently when the 'man warranty" expires.
First the eyes....though I blame PatsFans.com for contributing to my deteriorating reading capabilities.
Better lawyer up
