Lol Aaron Rodgers is in his prime years

And the fact that people compare Brady who is not even in his prime years anymore apparently compared to Rodgers shows how Brady is the best. The numbers Brady puts up at this point of his career is still comparable, if not better than Rodgers prime years. Take that into consideration.

Nothing's funnier than looking at Rodger's postseason record.

The Jeff Fisher-esque 14-13 post-season career record for Peyton Manning is pretty funny.

Fivehead threw 5 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in his "championship runs". At least Rodgers had a 9/2 ratio during his SB run. Same with Brees. 8/0.

I spit on the people who try and say Rodgers is greater because "he has the most talent ever"

**** them. Brady the GOAT forever. at least until all of us are dead

These small minded people thing that just because a QB can scramble and throw accurately while on the run, they are the best. Let them think that, it really doesn't matter. For real football fans, we all know there is a lot more to it than that. Rodgers is a better QB in some categories, key word "some." There is no denying that Brady is the smartest QB to ever walk the field. I'll take brains over legs any day of the week

Brady's prime years doesn't really hold up cause of the style he plays. Yes there is a lot of physicality involved still but a lot of what he does is mental.

Mentioning Rodgers being in his prime is fair though. I doubt Rodgers will get better than he is now. He is a player who depends on his physical talent to make the play a lot more than Brady.

Honestly if you are going to mock Rodger's for underperformance it shouldn't be for his postseason record.

It should be for his "performance" when down by 9+ points in the 2nd half. Brady had more comebacks in the 2002 season* under such conditions than Rodgers' has in his entire career.

*Also more such comebacks in the Super Bowl, 2014 playoffs, etc

Rodgers is way better than P.Manning was. He makes fewer mistakes and is better when he doesn't have supreme talent at the skill positions.

Brady is like other veteran athletes that have found a way to stay highly productive late in their careers.

Is it accurate to say that big papi Ortiz retired in his prime? No. And Brady is not in his prime either.

Fortunately Brady is in excellent health and has not had his effectiveness sapped by nagging injuries. There is no reason to expect him not to play up to his usual level. That really doesn't mean he's still in his prime, even if it does seem to be a distinction without a difference.

An athlete is in his prime when his physical skill + his mental skill put him in position to be at, or very near, his performance peak.

So, as of last year, Brady was still in his prime.

Threads like this make me miss Peyton. (sung to the Nationwide is on your side theme).

You miss a sub-human who cheats with HGH, and sexually assaults a trainer, and then doubles and triples down by re-abusing her, and using mommy and daddy's influence to get her unfairly fired from her job for no reason other than the re-abuse he and his father did to her? That's f*cked up man! But hey you're not the only f*cked up person, the clots are building the sexual predator a statue.

Rodgers is the best quarterback of his generation. Brady is the best quarterback of all time. Green Bay Packer fans have every right to be proud of their quarterback. But Brady is the goat.

It's Brady and a half step down from Brady is Montana. And a half step down from that are about half a dozen people one of them is Rogers one of them is Peyton Manning...
Peyton Manning is not one of them.

No athlete in history is in his physical prime at 39. Mentally brady may be better, but I doubt physically he's better than he was in 2007 when he could run faster and throw the ball 74 yards downfield into a receivers hands, and put some serious velocity on 20-30 yard throws. Brady is still great physically, but not peak.

Who else is excited for the 4-6 game hot streak Rodgers will go on where the media will proceed to felate him as if they've NEVER seen such elite quarterback play. as if Brady isn't doing it basically every single week...

peak is the "whole" not the level of the parts

I like Aaron Rodgers, he has great accuracy and is a joy to watch play.

Nobody who isn't a head-up-Lombardi's-ass packers fan actually believes that Rodgers is better than Brady they're just trying to antagonize you into paying attention to them.
