He's been pushing the league doesn't have evidence thing for a while, I think from the beginning? Goodell isn't much different from Erica Leigh if you think about it. And he uses that intuition as evidence to deal out punishments. It's a dangerous game he's been playing giving out the Big Ben suspension, Bounty Gate, and now this. Surprised other owners haven't spoken out publicly. Whose to say somebody won't lose a team one day over an accusations? Getting in trouble for things with no evidence is not a good precedents. It's not about whether you think they did it or not, it's whether you have proper evidence to punish them. And they do not.
