I just read most of this “palace intrigue” thread. Why would the Krafts engineer some kind of mutiny talk when they could just express their concerns directly to Mayo? I think the most likely scenario is that some players expressed displeasure and Lazar extrapolated from that displeasure.

The reason for the infighting and frustration may be for different reason, but when teams play like crap for extended periods of time and things look bleak, there is always discourse in the locker room. Tyreek Hill blew up on the sidelines last weekend. Aaron Rodgers and Robert Saleh are clearly feuding. Different locker rooms, different problems, same BS.

None of this means that this "issue" is anything other than trivial. Lazar, a pretty darn good commentator most of the time, had a slip-up in his diction. He jumped the gun. On the topic of losing the lockerrom, Rhamondre Stevenson who has been unquestionably the best player on offense has been benched for fumbling. “Ball security is job security”. But Jacoby Brissett fumbled 3 times last week and threw a pick6 and despite playing horribly retains his starting job.
