I needed that TD

Oh Lord Almighty, they couldn't let the Champs have their night without showing the damn Peytons.

And here is our daily manning plug

that was a funny Eli-Peyton segment

I agree...where's Katie Couric, at least?

I don't know why they don't put a cute young chick with cleavage down on the sideline. Seems like such a no brainer to me.... There are plenty of cute girls who know something about football.

Anyway, neither of these teams look like they have their act together yet. Unimpressive first half.

Peyton's imitation of Eli was pretty good.

Daunte has good numbers so far...it's almost all Welker, but although he looks a little rusty at times, he hasn't embarrassed himself...

They need to pull Erin Andrews from the college football section to this one.

Good luck mgcolby, you might win the bet after all.

And, this Manning v Manning stuff is pissing me off. Seriously, who cares, it older brother choker vs Baby Brother who has not yet had a chance to choke.

Anyway, the first half is in the books. Miami's best player has been Welker. I think Parker is going to bust a big TD run in the second half for the Steelers and they are going to hold on for the win.

Do they really have to show Bettis jumping off that bus, grabbing at his crotch over and over and over? It's nauseating.

I agree, Eli's impersonation of Peyton was classic. He should have flapped the hands up and put on a cry baby face.

Steelers are pumped. Willie Parkers just getting going. Charlie Batch isnt too bad. He's thrown some nice passes. Two nice TD passes and one was a spectacular catch. Welker is damn good. Culpepper looks alright. Welker is easily out performing Chambers here. I dont think Ronnie Brown has broken the ten yard mark yet. Weaknesses for both teams. Steelers special teams...poor tackling, Welker blazing right by them. Dolphins secondary. A long PI, and another that should have been called big time. Allowed two TDs. Those are the big problems for each team. If the Steelers have good field position and can at least pin the Dolphins back to their own 20 or 30 they have a great shot at taking this game.

What's Tara Reid doing these days?

Boise State Sophomore RB Ian Johnson, maybe he can be Maroney's back-up in four years. That kid can run, open field our draped with defenders dragging them into the end zone. Wow.

Sounds like my game is more fun than yours, I've got it on Tivo so I'll see how good Daunte is later.

Daunte hasnt done much but his recievers have had some bad drops from what I've seen. Hes been decent aside from the final minute when he was in the Steelers 5 yard line and he threw 3 incomplete passes and ended up with a field goal. Its actually a pretty good game...

She wouldn't be bad now that she's upgraded the rack.

Daunte's thrown some bad passes but only when he wasn't really pressured, which is kind of backwards. He definitely looks slender.

Batch finally hitting Ward a couple of times. Nice drive to start the half for the Steelers.

Penn State at Notre Dame 2:30 Sat., then Ohio St.-Texas four hours later, add the Pats on Sunday morning... football season has arrived! :rocker:

Batch seems small out there...my how the position has changed.

Looks like the ST's punt squad will be running laps this week.
Well, the few who are supposed to run past the ball anyways.

I am curious as to when Culpepper's 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions are going to take place. it is already the third quarter.

he must be saving it all for the end of the game.

WOW. What a terrible job by Batch not getting rid of that, and then an AWFUL, AWFUL, OBVIOUS call of a screen. Christ. Putrid.
