Kicking in the NFL has been suspect this year

After just watching Billy Cundiff, the guy signed to replace the inept Steve Hauschka, miss a fairly easy field goal for the Ravens, and watching Kris Brown today, I felt like making this thread. I've never seen so many shanked extra points, blocks and missed field goals in the NFL. Thank god we have Ghostowski, because it would be unacceptable to have a kicker here in NE screw up so badly. Thoughts?

We've been unbelievably lucky having Vinatieri and now Gostkowski. Days like the one Kris Brown had today are the reason you lock guys like Gostkowski up long-term.
