Does Richards have a younger brother ?
Yeah, Reed Richards. He's REALLY pliable.

Hell, the Raiders' defense was mediocre with Mack last year (20th in points allowed, 26th in 3rd down percentage).
Mack was the #5 overall pick the Raiders essentially got back their draft capital. That's ******ed.
Mack is proven Garoppolo was not. People consider Mack to be a generational talent and Garoppolo is not in that same class. Garoppolo will be a good QB but I don’t think he is viewed by many as a future HOF player whereas Mack is widely considered that. This makes me mad to only get a second for Grap.
Mack needs paid right away and they got 2 1sts and a player.
They have the money with their QB on a rookie contract for 4 more seasons. When you consider the Raiders used a top 5 pick on Mack the draft capital is not that crazy,The Raiders just robbed the Bears blind while shedding a lot of future cap. Mack is not going to suddenly turn the Bears defense around just like he didn’t single handedly improve Oakland’s defense. He’s a talented pass rusher, no doubt, but to give up that kind of draft capital and then that kind of money for one player on the defensive side of the ball is totally brain dead.
Graham & Harvin weren't half as good as Mack on their best day.
Revis wasn't the same guy before the trade if we're being honest.
There's literally no reason to think Mack won't tear it up on a better defense with a coach who will have no problem playing to his strengths.
Your bolded makes no sense tbh. He's been an elite player since day 1. Will continue to be while filling that stadium & giving their fan base all the more reason to be excited.
He'll be in the HOF one day.
I meant by the Bears.Mack was the #5 overall pick the Raiders essentially got back their draft capital.
If you want to be mad about a trade consider the Chandler Jones trade.
It was a terrible trade for the Pats. Jones averaged 9 sacks and had more forced fumbles (10) than Mack’s (9). Mack averaged just over 10 sacks, 11 total passes defensed and 1 interception to Jones’s 8 passes defenced and 1 INT. Jones’s production was not much of a drop off to Mack’s yet Jones only gets a 2nd rounder and Jonathan Cooper?Whats wrong with that trade?

Somehow Mack is more of a “name” player and that’s why he garnered what the Raiders wanted. I do think he will do very well in Vic Fangio’s scheme.
The Chandler Jones trade netted squandered assets. Are you saying Chandler Jones is just as good as Khalil Mack?
Are you saying the Pats should have paid Jones the money he got from AZ?
I put their production side by side for a reason. Mack is just slightly better yet he got 2 first rounders. The Pats did not receive enough for him.Are you saying Chandler Jones is just as good as Khalil Mack?

People ***** about ROI on the trades but never think about the cap space saved. The Chandler Jones trade netted squandered assets.
That cant be denied.
I still feel the reason we didnt pay him is they felt they couldnt trust him after the Synthetic Marijuana incident and the controversy around his brother.
Honestly he was one of our best picks in the BB era.
Much rather have him than donePaidforIRTower.
But after Aaron Hernandez I bet they were doubting him.
There is a reason Mack fetched two #1s.I put their production side by side for a reason. Mack is just slightly better yet he got 2 first rounders. The Pats did not receive enough for him.
I wouldn’t have paid Jones.
My thought was Jones was the kind of player BB likes to break the bank for.People ***** about ROI on the trades but never think about the cap space saved.
The simple fact is the Patriots did fell Jones was at the level of an elite player- and they were right in doing so.
They made the deal to save cap space so they could sign other players (see Gilmore, Hightower)
If you want to crap all over MM (which without him they don't win the SB) and Thuney go ahead.
Why do people on this board continue to bring this up when it had nothing to do with the initial trade? The Pats received a second round pick and Jonathan Cooper for Jones. That’s it! The Pats then traded that second round pick and received those players you mentioned above. If you want to crap all over MM (which without him they don't win the SB) and Thuney go ahead.
Jones was very average vs the run and his pass rush went MIA for long stretches. With that said when he was dialed in he was great. My thought was Jones was the kind of player BB likes to break the bank for.
Drafted home grown and coached excellent length made impact on special teams as well as defense.
Thought as a high character guy I still believe him being stoned out of his mind made the decison.
There had to been a thought to pay him. That infraction so close to being burnt by the Hernandez disaster made it clear.
The cap space was great and we all loved Malcom Mitchell easy to root for.
Thuney is solid.
I thought prior to that incident he was a lock to being a fixture.
Even though in some big games he would disappear off the stat sheet.
BB parlayed the 2nd into MM and Thuney. Its part of the evaluation. Why do people on this board continue to bring this up when it had nothing to do with the initial trade? In case you forgot, Jones led the league in sacks. He’s a pretty damn good player. If you think Mack is a slightly better player than Chandler Jones there is no sense debating you.
