Kevin Burnett: "The Pats are very beatable... We showed it twice this year"

Was it Nick Barnett or Kevin Barnett??

Surprised nobody has brought up the "carrying the 'Dolphins linebacker who says something inexplicably dumb' torch that was passed on from Channing Crowder" angle yet.

Mr. Burnett was just trying out for the role of the new Black Knight in Monty Python's latest movie...

Brady throws for 500.

Him: "It was merely a blown coverage"

I have no doubt that the statement itself is true. But to say your team showed it twice when losing both games borders on absurdity. Still, I love that this is out. This team has always played better with a chip on its shoulder. I have no doubt BB will use it as further blackboard material. If Baltimore wins today they will probably get all the love with flashbacks to their dismantling of the Pats in the playoffs two years ago.

didn't realize that "morale victories" counted in the standings.

That sounds like a very classy statement.

What team did Burnett play for before the Guppies?

At the end of the day all teams are beatable...Its a non event news story from another bitter player.

But you and your team couldn't beat them. :idontgetit:

anyone is beatable...stupid moron.... but ...I guess they didnt play 60 minutes...LOL

Who is this individual I've never heard of him before!

He has a point. Brady was well short of 600 yards passing in week one! :bricks:

We heard the same crap in 01, 03 and 04. Different times, different teams but when you keep winning there isn't a lot of credibility and data to go along with these statements.

The Dolphins are very beatable to. That is fact.

Freddie Mitchell doesn't even know the names of our defensive backs!

Which I have to bring up since it led to my favorite Belichick quote of all time:

"All he does is talk. He's terrible, and you can print that. I was happy when he was in the game."

Don't know about this, but one thing I do know:

The Patriots proved this year that the Dolphins are very beatable by... wait for it... beating them twice.
