I’d seen something about a “sex party” the night before a postseason game, nothing more.

Sounds like he'll fit in right along with Mr. Kraft then!

I don't put much stock into vertical because a WR don't have to jump every time to catch the football unless he's playing with Jump ball Joe.

I do find RAS and combine measurements helpful in determining a player's athleticism.

What we need to keep in mind with a grain of salt is that Boutte is doing these measurements coming off an ankle injury.

Those numbers were probably a lot better before he went down with the big injury.

At least on tape he looks a lot more explosive than those measured numbers would make you believe.

2021​

Left ankle injury

Early in the first quarter against Kentucky, Boutte was tackled from behind on a jet sweep to the right, injuring his left ankle. He required brief medical attention during the game but was able to return. Looking at the video, he got injured on a shoestring tackle, looking to be a relatively minor ankle sprain, returning for the next offensive series.

Right ankle fracture

After returning, Boutte broke his right ankle while trying to complete an acrobatic catch out of bounds as seen below. This happened in the fourth quarter against Kentucky. With his body still moving downfield, he managed to rotate his body to the left to secure the ball and landing on the right foot. Once he landed, the cleat looked to stick in the turf as his body began rotating to the right before the foot was released.

I think that's why 186 players were picked before him, with probably 100 of those having little chance to ever get to the level where this kid could get IF the ankle is fully healed and his head is on straight regarding the leg.

6th Round pick? About 1-in-6 guys picked in rounds 5, 6, and 7 get a second contract.
With all of that in mind, I think this is well-worth the shot, particularly at this particular position, WR.

It is concerning. In my opinion you put him through a rigorous evaluation and see where the ankle is. If he shows any signs of it being a problem, IR him and get it right. Even if he is 85-90%. Take the time to get it as healthy as possible. He has the talent to be a difference maker. It is worth the wait/time to see if we can get that out of him.

I think we stole one here K Boutte have Steal written all over him his highlights are impressive. Boutte does a lot of things that we like in a WR he's pretty good short - Intermediate and long. Let him get that Ankle back to 100%.

Now that Harry got shipped off to a new team, has he flourished in the NFL? The answer again is NO, you can change his uniform but you can't change his stripes.

With a 'fresh start' in Chicago without the meanies like Tom Brady, Cam Newton, and Mac Jones 'conspiring' not to throw to him, how did Harry do?

His usual: 7 catches and 116 yards 1 TD for the ENTIRE season. No that's not a typo, that's not a 1 game output, that's his entire season of production.

I saw a guy who was going up against shorter dbs and not one play did he accelerate to get open or even run a nifty route.

Yeah I believe your right watching those highlights has me pumped! Just those talented, but the injuries like guys like barmore ultra talented but drafted with a knee injury. Hopefully he'll be close to 100 when camp rolls around we need someone on the outside to make the defense pay!
