Kayshon Boutte: "How The Hell Did I Get Here???"

This has nothing to do with owners and how much money they make. This is about salary cap
Well he's going get paid by us or some other Team. I wouldn't blame if if he goes for the $$$$$$$$: who are your alternatives if he walks in a year?? What have we seen from the NFL regarding Young Proven WR's?? They Barely leave their original Teams: unless the Team is loaded there or negotiations stall.

No it's Not! NFL Owners are not losing $$$$$$: stop trying to save it for them. 15Mill is the going rate for a Guy with upside.
I think $15mm is fair market value for him right now. If he plays the next two games as well as he’s played the last few that might even go up. I’m assuming the Pats win the AFCCG, for sake of this discussion.

On pace is great and all but at the end of the day you have to factor in he got hurt twice and only got 500 yards. I think he is capable of being a thousand yard 10 TD guy but we haven't seen that yet and can't pay for potential. Again I love the guy, want him back, just saying you can't be giving out huge contracts to every player.

15 million a year is not a huge contract for receivers, in fact it's less than half of what the top receivers get. Boutte is well worth that kind of deal.

So, you think another game or two will change Boutte's market price. I don't.

1) We can easily sign all three. None of them are going to get mega deals - especially if the Patriots are smart. These are the people you re-sign at good rates in order to build a team long term.

2) Boutte's already worth more than 12 million/yr.

3) Even when they re-sign Maye, his real money isn't going to kick in until the 2028 season. Both he and Gonzalez' contract are extensions. They will look team-friendly by thte ttime that money kicks in, in both cases.
The only significant free agents this year are Chaisson, Tonga and Hawkins. We can easily sign all three plus have money to sign our pass rusher and OL's. Gibbens and Austin are RFA's. We can keep them if we wish, at reasonable money.

Yes, we also have Hooper, Munford and Lowe.

This is NOT a very expensive list.

For me, Boutte won't be extended for at least a few months.

We have Hooper, Munford and Lowe signed through 2026? NOT

I think he might get more than 15 on the open market already. I think if he has another couple of games like he’s already been having, but only a big stage, it just makes that more certain.

Pretty amazing season if you think about it. In recent years there would be obvious dead weight and FA upgrade needs.

If not for the age factor, I'd love to roll it back with this team largely as constituted.

While I do think Owenu has played well this season we can always give him a pay cut or all cut scenario to get some extra $$ if needed

"I really think I one hand that *****" - Kayshon Boutte

Look at the face of the official behind him, I think he was impressed.

You can legitimately argue that Boutte was the best deep threat in the NFL this season, wow

But but NO-YAC... Kayshon Boutte is a JAG who don't even deserve a PS spot. Glad Mayo kept him in 24 one of the best things he did.

???
We also minor free agents Hooper, Munford and Lowe to deal with.

BTW, who was it that posted that they were signed through 2026?
