It's very difficult for print media to keep decent sportswriters today. The Globe has seen theirs move on time and again. Now they've got Volin, probably because they figure nobody's ever going to try stealing him away.

He didn't even use Google for research, he actually just googled "Kraft foundation" and the top result said Robert Kraft so that was good enough for him. As in, his entire research was "I googled Kraft, it showed me Robert Kraft, that's all I need!" A total of about 1.3 seconds of research.

By this logic, if I googled "Ben" and the first result was "Local man Ben (any last name) arrested for child pornography", then therefore Ben Volin must be the culprit. I mean, I googled "Ben", how many Bens could there be in the world? Can't be more than 1, right?

Most of boston media is like that . they take special pride in bringing down a team or a player like peter gammons once said.

About 10 minutes of searching shows that the Kraft in question is Burnell Kraft former VP of ADM. He appears to be a Saluki (Souther Illinois University). Most grants from this foundation go to Christian groups and are of the 10k or less variety.
