JT denies King report he wants to be traded

As he admitted on Dale & Holley's show, Peter King doesn't waste time having facts to back up the statements he makes.

We know this in New England... Dallas fans are beginning to figure it out and so too are Miami fans.

Since its well known that Sports Illustrated is owned by terrorist sympathizers, I guess this shouldn't surprise us.*

(* I have no facts to back up this statement... but that's ok I guess).

It impossible to know this without hearing from someone who talks to King in-person on a regular basis, but there seems to be something up with him either misinterpreting people or his writing being too vague and causing problems.

so far this year

* non-existent Belichick quote regarding Kerry Rhodes. Whether it was King or Crimini's fault, they're both idiots

* Looking for angles that aren't there on spygate

* Wade Philips last week

* Jason Taylor this week

So is this guy ignoring people's requests to keep things off the record, is he too dumb to realize when "keep it off the record" is implied but not specifically requested, or is he making crap up?

Credible writers don't need to end stories with "you need to trust him or me." Cowboys fans will trust Wade Philips, and everyone else will just laugh at the situation.

This guy has really gone off the deep end.

Wow, the King hate here is a little unhealthy. Yes I think he's gone overboard on the controversy but that doesn't make him a hack.

He comes across things he doesn't know about, get's suddenly worked up (and moralistic) about them, and acts amazed others aren't as interested as he is. That's his shtick. I'm still waiting for the day he watches a TV program about Darfur and devotes an entire column to it.

This falls squarely on Jason Taylor. All he had to do was deny the question. He could have stated he's never considered leaving Miami. He instead hemmed and hawed, leading King to make an obvious inference.

King isn't even being accused of misquoting him. King never wrote that Taylor said he wanted to be traded. King wrote what Taylor said and concluded that he wanted out. Even if he's wrong (which I doubt) he's being paid for his thoughts.
