Josh's new toy: the death alignment

The Death Alignment...

...sounds like our OL & TE situations.

True. However, running against that is harder when you have 4 WR on the field, instead of 3 WR and Gronk.

So I'd go with 6 DB plus your best coverage LB. I'd match up this way:

CB1 on Edelman
CB2 on Brown with S help
CB3 on Gordon with S help
CB4 on Dorsett
LB on White

Hopefully White has a yuge bonus in his contract based on number of receptions.

Yes.

I'm a lot more concerned with the OLine and protecting Brady's health. Would rather run a ton and almost all quick 2 second passes. Forget the 7 step drops I don't care that we have 7 good receivers.

.

Generally I agree, but then I recall the Seahawks SB when Bennett was literally getting to Brady untouched and Brady was able to zip the ball to Edleman or Ridley in 2.2 seconds or less.

I made a similar comment in PFKs post. Each of these WRs are complete (once Brown gets acclimated to the system). I'm impressed with Dorsett and the way he is running routes. Seems to have made that jump to comfort in the scheme

The Seattle DL was dominating until Bruce Irvin left the game. We are getting way too excited for something that has not shown anything yet.
