Josh Sweat Trade Candidate

Drake Maye led the league in passing and nearly won the MVP without Brown… comparing him to Mac Jones is lol crazy.

I hope this ^ was sarcasm?
"Regular Season Drake Maye" He wasn't sharp in the Playoffs and I know our OL had some problems. But still he wasn't the same player... he played scared when the HEAT was on.

As for Josh Sweat or Myles Garrett… where are you playing these guys?

Garrett is so good you’d find a place for him, but cripes Cleveland will want 2 years of firsts.

Defensively they should stick with what they have, they did a good job on paper… now the coaches have to do their jobs and develop the young guys.
Don't tell you me we have better players on our Defense ... that's an absurd question.

He didn't play scared. He didn't play well vs Top 5 defenses. Big difference.

They only need AJ Brown for 2-3 years, and it’s likely he only wants to play that long anyway. He can empty the tank.

Successful teams develop draft picks, but usually have an old lead WR who shows them how. As a fan I’m thankful Diggs was here last year to show Williams the ropes.

Without giving up a first or unrelated injury, the juice would be worth the squeeze on AJ Brown:
The hope is for him to make the jump this year barring injuries. IF he doesn't we know how that movie ends.

Better defenses require smarter gameplans and better, more efficient play. Drake has to improve against pressure and the team needs to block better, beyond just the line. It’s not one or the other, but Drake having more command over the offense and controlling his blockers and hot routes would fix most of the problems they had in the playoffs. He’s the second youngest guy to ever play in a Super Bowl, the first youngest guy lost also.

and what were the conditions for 3 of those games? And was he hurt?
Yep.

I won't use the AC joint shoulder injury during the 2nd 1/2 vs DEN and vs SEA in the SB as an excuse but if we want to truly evaluate his play, it absolutely impacted his performance.
