Flores is reportedly regarded so well because of his football intelligence and leadership qualities.. as much as fans bemoan the D, this is probably what you will see as long at BB is in charge, but consider how much we have improved the D backfield ever since we stopped using walking ons like Tiquan et al who they thought they could just coach up...

Love that I like the idea of the succession plan in place the organization having a plan in place with the same system same principles.
I hope for that reason we keep him but if not for future head coach I'd raid the Rams or Saints offensive assistants.

My thoughts are, and I may be in the minority, but I don't think he leaves, for several reasons.

1) I'm sure there might be some NFL backlash, and trepidation (Stephen A. Smith loves that word.) due to last year's Indy situation, I don't doubt there might be SOME interest, but probably less than last year.

2) I really do think he feels he will take over for Belichick in the next few years.

3) I think Kraft thinks almost as highly about him as Belichick.

4) he mentioned he was happy with the stability, especially not having to move his family.

I really think he'll still be a Patriot next year.

Totally agree Scott I think they have a mutual agreement that he will be BB's successor... The Patriots would be fools to let him leave he's young and have a Great history with the organization. I think BB leaves when Brady leaves I see Two more years tops.

Perhaps by the time it happens, things will have changed in regards to how he handles his players.. and hopefully he learned/grew from his first stint as a HC..

He had maturity issues. He had weird ****old **** going on that I still can't figure out.

But he was pretty right about Brandon Marshall and Cutler, imo. Marshall is a different guy now and I think he's a real leader, but when he was with the Broncos not so much. Cutler isn't a leader.

Tebow was a mistake, obviously. But probably half or more of things Josh tends to get flak over ended up being right moves that helped setup the Broncos to have a SB run.
